Math

We have been discussing both bar and line graphs during the past two weeks. We will continue doing virtual activities discussing these types of graphs. I will grading individual assignments through Schoology to assess comprehension. At this time, I do not plan to administer a test on this unit. We will begin Unit 2 on Place Value next week.

The students will be busy with Math this year. We will start the year reviewing and learning new graphing skills. Place value concepts will be our next focus, and multi-digit multiplication and division will follow later in the fall. Fractions, decimals, geometry, measurement, elapsed time, probability and data will also be taught during the academic year.
